Pre-operative Patient
Before Surgery
High Lateral Tension Abdominoplasty
4 Months Following Surgery
This woman had had several pregnancies including a twin childbirth that left a moderate amount of loose skin hanging along the abdominal wall. The abdominal muscular envelope was lax to the touch. The pregnancies and surgery had occurred several years prior.

At 4 months following surgery, the wound healing is in a mid-point. The scar is easily covered in her undergarments.

OPERATIVE STATISTICS:
  • Before: Abdominal Fatty Deposits With Muscular Laxity And Skin Excess
  • After: Improved Abdominal Contour
  • Operative Design: A High Lateral Tension Abdominoplasty design was utilized. The "excess" skin and fat was removed and the abdominal muscles were "tightened" in three regions. An Umbilicoplasty was performed to provide a natural depression above and below the "belly button."
