Moderate Frame Extended Abdominoplasty
Tummy Tuck at 3 Months
2 Months
"Julie" had considered abdominoplasty for years but thought she was too old. She had gained and lost weight after having her children many years prior, but was tired of her "curveless figure." A high lateral tension abdominoplasty was ideal for her form.

At 2 months following surgery, the result is maturing. She looks "thinner and tighter."

OPERATIVE STATISTICS:
  • Before: Post-pregnancy, and the "softening" of Weight Gain and Loss with Moderate Skin Excess and Muscular Laxity
  • After: More Youthful "Tight" Abdominal Contour With Tailoring of the Hip/Thigh Skin
  • Operative Design: A "High Lateral Tension" tummy tuck was performed that extended toward the flanks. The excess skin and fat was removed and a tight muscular repair was performed. A formal Umbilicoplasty was added. The tissues of the thigh and hip were "brought in" to accentuate the result.
