Tummy Tuck Hernia Repair After Five Months
5 Months Following Surgery
A stretched after baby tummy was the only negative that came from childbirth for this young woman. She was left with a little shelf over her pubes and a belly button hernia. The abdominal muscular envelope was thinned and loosened to the touch. She didn't like it.

At 5 months following her tummy tuck surgery, Things are nicely improved. She looks good and is happy. The scar is easily covered.

OPERATIVE STATISTICS:
  • Before: Abdominal Fatty Deposits With Muscular Laxity, Belly Button Hernia And Moderate Skin Excess
  • After: Improved Abdominal Contour; Repaired Hernia and Tightened Skin Envelope
  • Operative Design: A low cut tummy tuck design was utilized. The "excess" skin and fat was removed and the abdominal muscles were "tightened." The hernia was fixed. An Umbilicoplasty was performed to provide a natural depression above and below the "belly button" and an oval opening.
