Breast augmentation is really more than just the placement of implants: it is a philosophy. Surgeons disagree as to the best option for a particular woman. Our goal is for you to look as nicely as possible for as long as possible. We don't want you to be one of those women who "needs more surgery."
In looking at your best long term result, we must take into account what tissue you have and what implants are best.
There is naturally some anxiety when considering breast implants. Some patients seek more information to feel better. Others want less.
A few things to take into account:
- Implant Type - Silicone gel vs Saline-filled vs No Implants, Implant Shape, Textured vs Smooth
- Operation Type - Simple Implants vs Lift vs Both, Implant Placement (Under the Muscle vs Over the Muscle)
You can have as much information on all of these items as you wish. Some women would like the "Reader's Digest" version. We can do that too....to a point. There is a minimum amount you need to know before you have surgery. Just tell us what you want and we'll hook you up.
