Liposuction Tummy Woman

One Month After Liposuction
One Month Following Surgery
This woman came to consultation looking to improve her abdominal contour. Considering the disability of the alternative (a "Tummy Tuck"), she decided upon liposuction of the abdomen and flanks. Women at times ask for more than small region treatment. The image at the upper right shows her appearance 1 month after surgery. Eventhough the result is not mature at this stage, the improvement is already starting to become apparent. The mark across the abdomen is the result of pressure from a garment. It is not related to surgery.
OPERATIVE STATISTICS:
  • Before: Abdominal Fatty Deposits
  • After: Improved Abdominal Contour
  • Operative Design: The "Wet" Technique was used to reduce bruising and blood loss as well as provide post-operative pain relief. Two Small (<1 cm) incisions were used for the entire procedure hidden in the Umbilicus ("belly button").
